2007 Lycoming Wrestling Team Camp 

Williamsport, PA -- Coming off a 9-1 record at the South County Brawl in Lorton, VA,  the Knights battled with teams from PA, NJ, CT, VA, and OH at Lycoming College's Team Camp in Northeastern Pennsylvania.  The guys finished with a 9-6 overall dual record with two losses coming by one point.    

Their were many hard fought battles throughout the week with most of the guys coming home bruised and exhausted.  Of the many tough matches, one highlight included Cody Griffin's win over Benton's (PA) Middle School State Champion, Fought.   Other close matches included John Dommert's 1-point losses to a 5th Place finisher from OH and a state runner-up from NJ.  Philip White and Sam Jones also had many tough match ups vs. state level kids.

Keynote instruction came from "Pinning Guru," Gene Mills (2 X NCAA Div. I Champion, 3 X World Cup Champion) and Minnesota wrestlers Jared Lawrence (NCAA Div. I Champion) and Brandon Eggum (NCAA Div. I Runner up, 3 X Div. I All American). "Mean Gene's" half nelson series is one of a kind as well as the man himself.
