2008 Central District Tournament and Regular Season Champions!!

Hopewell, VA -- In dominating fashion, the Knights earned their third consecutive district tournament title yesterday at Hopewell High School.  The team scored 263 points over second place Dinwiddie who finished with 158.5.  The Knights qualified 13 for the regional tournament and had 10 wrestlers reach the finals.

Champions for the Knights included Cody Griffin (112), Sam Jones (140), Philip White (145), Michael Sims (171), Patrick O'Brien (189), and Luke Slate (HWT).

Head coach, Chris Persing, was also named the Central District's Coach of the Year for the 4th consecutive year.
