The Knights traveled to Ocean Lakes H.S. this past Saturday where they finished the day in third place behind Grassfield and Gloucester who finished 1st and 2nd respectively.  Wrestling very aggressively, it was Dale's best performance to date versus the toughest competition they have faced all year in dual competition.

Dale was able to pull out criteria wins over Currituck, NC and Ocean Lakes along with a victory over Norfolk Academy.  Losses came to a much improved Gloucester team in their second match and then to the eventual champion, Grassfield, in the final match of the day.

Brandon Diamond was named Thomas Dale's Most Outstanding Wrestler.  Diamond finished 5-0 on the day, wrestling at both 145 and 152 to give his team their best chance to win.  His most impressive win was versus Ocean Lakes, where he put the stick on Robertson who is currently ranked #2 in the state at 140.
