DALE WINS FOURTH CONSECUTIVE DISTRICT TOURNAMENT TITLE 02.08.2009
The Knights were able to capture their fourth consecutive district tournament title, finishing ahead of second place Dinwiddie by 29.5 points.  The team qualified nine wrestlers for the Regions held next week at James River High School.  

Champions for the Knights included Alex Turley (119), Brandon Diamond (140), John Dommert (171), and Mike Edmunds (189).  Drew Zoller (112), Jarrett Fields (130), Paden Rudd (135), Kyle Felter (145), and Cody Lasher (160) also made the cut, finishing in the top 4.  

With the team victory also came the disappointing loss to state hopeful James White (125) who could not recover from illness that he had been battling with all week.
